Hello everyone,

The rule books for GV Open Sedans and GV Production Sedans have been printed and are available from Peter Welch in Bendigo, Phil Lamb in Bendigo and Deb Prattt in Echuca, Ash Brown cost of the book is $3 to cover printing costs etc.

There are only a few changes to the OPEN SALOON book, mainly safety related stuff, like window nets, aluminum seats etc. 

The major addition to the rule book is the allowance of Methanol fuel in the Gv Open class as an option to unleaded and E85 etc, the reason behind the allowance of Menthanol is to try and attract cars from other classes that run on Menthanol to run in the Open class.

The ability to swap engines and put a different brand in your car in OPENS is now avalable, eg put a  Barra in a commodore. Please ask for clarification before you start your build.

The GV PRODUCTION SEDANS rule book is very straight forward, if you have any doubts ASK before you BUILD. 

Please keep in mind for the 2 classes to activate there must be 20 cars in each class (10 Gv Production & 10 Gv Opens) otherwise the classes will stay together and run as one class until sufficient numbers are obtained. 

Please read the book carefully and then if any questions ASK. ignorance is

NO EXCUSE.

The GVAC has a large Member base and is constantly looking for keen

People who may like to be involved in Speedway through a not racing

participation, but as a on field worker or Official, or one of the varied and

interesting jobs that go with staging a race meeting
